TRAVELING MINSTRELS UPDATE: SPOKANE ROCKED OUT ON ELECTRIC COOL-AID ACIDIC TOUR!

Howdy! Busy tracking the boys as they rock through the first half of the Electric Cool-aid ACIDIC tour, and stuff’s been happening so fast we can hardly keep up with it!

The weekend was nothing short of triumphant!

Saturday opened with a two-fer in Spokane. Our friends at Radiocontraband.com arranged an afternoon acoustic performance at a popular little hangout called The Music Corner, where the boys have visited before. Fun place. Lots of instruments everywhere for great prices, and a neat little spot to squeeze in a showcase and promote whatever you’re up to later that evening. Nice little crowd packed in there waiting for the band! This was a specially-equipped ACIDIC Unplugged session. Matt brought a nifty new little candy-apple red cajon to play percussion, and Max is loving switching up from amplified to acoustic bass, accompanying Michael and Josh on their acoustic guitars. Gossard said “it sounded awesome! We even sang a capella on ‘Miles from Home’ and it sounded SLAM-TASTIC!” “Miles from Home” is an amazingly gorgeous new ballad – can’t wait til everybody everywhere can hear it! Deejay Scotty from Spokane’s Best Rock, 94 1/2 KHTQ-FM, was there watching and representing the station and pronounced himself way satisfied. Thanks, Scotty! We will see you and serenade you again soon!

Stay tuned because we have some HUGE summer tour news to share – as soon as we’re permitted to…
