The second installment of ACIDIC’s 2014 adventure, the Electric Cool-aid ACIDIC Tour, will cover three states in the Pacific Northwest and packs a big punch in a neat little package: Washington, Idaho, and Montana. Michael, Matt, Josh, and Max are on the road with Tour Manager Zane Taylor and new Crew Master Austin Ifri, who’s known Max and Zane for years.
The boys hit the road as of about 4:30am for Interstate 5 up through California and parts north. HUGE breakfast at Harris Ranch in Coalinga in Central CA not long after sun-up, with tri-tip, baseball steaks, homemade biscuits and gravy, fresh grown-and-squeezed-right-there orange juice, and more. Could barely walk back out to the van by the end of it!
They wanted to get a head start so they’d have time to gear up in Seattle before the weekend. Everything kicks off in Spokane on Friday – multiple ways.
First stop is at Whitworth University’s w.fm at 11am:
https://www.facebook.com/Whitworthfm – Live on-air interview and some instant music!
Then they visit the Music Corner on North Division Street at 3pm:
And they wrap Friday night up at another triumphant return to the Knitting Factory – for the next hot issue of 2Broke 2Rock, sponsored by Spokane’s Best Rock KHTQ:
More details ahead, but suffice it to say they’re packing this one with sweet strumming and ACIDIC Unplugged gigs at various Music Corner stores: Saturday 4/26 is a VERY special return to Boise ID (live remote with 100.3FM The X! http://www.xrock.com), Sunday 4/27 in Twin Falls ID (iRock promoting!), and Monday 4/28 in Pocatello ID (live remote with K-Bear http://www.kbear.fm). They’re all at 3pm and they’re all FREE! The folks at K-Bear (KCVI 101FM) stay on it Tuesday 4/29 with ACIDIC Unplugged at Night at the Brick House in Idaho Falls.
Next Wednesday 4/30 is a return to Jerome ID and the Diamondz Events Center for the first time since they last visited with Smile Empty Soul back in December. And the tour wraps up next Thursday, the 1st of May, with Dan Woodz and friends at Q106 in Great Falls Montana, http://www.q106rocks.com, and Machinery Row after dark.
Gonna be busy, and a whole lotta broadcasting will be included, almost literally back-to-back – and we’re all pretty stoked!
